These are the terms and conditions for Longridge Golf Club tee times booking system using our Internet booking facility.
In light of the current Covid 19 pandemic, and in line with "˜play safe, stay safe' guidance, you must agree to the following code of conduct prior to completing your online tee time booking.
To book a tee time shall be made through our web site using the "˜PayPal' method of payment.
This is a secure on-line payment process.
The full amount of the green fee plus a small administration charge will be made at the time of booking
All visitors must, when they turn up for their round of golf, report to the Professional's Shop before beginning play and produce their booking confirmation. Early visitor bookings prior to 8.30 a.m. that have been paid for on line, may play at their pre-booked tee time, but all players must carry their booking receipt as proof of payment and then produce this to the Professional's Shop once they have finished their round of golf.
The office also may be able to help up in an emergency until 1.30 p.m. in summer and 1 p.m. in winter.
Bookings may be cancelled on our web site by entering you unique reference number. If the booking is cancelled more than 1 week before the date of play, a full refund of your green fee will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 1 week before the date of play, a 50% refund of your green fee will apply.
Failure to cancel a booking will result in no refund being made.
Buggies can be hired directly from the Professional's Shop. The cost will be paid directly to the club professional or his deputy. The terms and conditions of hire are dealt with by the professional.
If the round of golf is cancelled due is to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), a full refund of the green fee will be made. Alternatively the booking may be transferred to a suitable alternative date.
The Booking is completely transferable - any visitor who is unable to make their tee time may transfer the booking to a third party. Longridge Golf Club must be informed of any alterations regarding tee reservation no later than 24 hours prior to the reserved tee time.
Handicap certificates are required.
Visitors are expected to be properly dressed both on the course and in the clubhouse.
Smart normal golfing attire, knee length shorts, cargo pants and all length of sports socks are allowed on the course and in the clubhouse. Smart denim jeans and trainers are allowed in the club house, however sports or beach shorts are not allowed. Wet weather clothing and golf shoes must not be worn in the clubhouse.
Blue denim jeans, trainers, football or rugby shirts or shirts with slogans, numbers, cartoons or offensive words/logos, tracksuits and shell suits are not allowed on the course.Trousers must not be visibly tucked into socks.
Spikes may be worn.
